About WakeCards
What it is
WakeCards is a web tool that turns your own documents into flashcards. Upload a PDF, Word file, text file, or Markdown file, and it writes question-and-answer cards in the same language as your source. You review them, rate your recall, and repeat the ones you miss.
Who it is for
Students and self-learners who already have reading material and want recall practice instead of re-reading. WakeCards is for adults 18 and older, and you should only upload materials you have the rights to use.
Your documents and privacy
Your documents belong to your account and are not shared with other users. To generate and review cards, the selected text is sent to DeepSeek. WakeCards is hosted on DigitalOcean in the United States, with migration backups temporarily stored in China.
Using WakeCards
You must be 18 or older. Use only materials you have the rights to. AI can make mistakes, so check important facts against your source.
